Are you adventurous enough to brave the longest roads in the world?
If you’re like me then you love a new challenge, especially if it means travelling at the same time. Road trips are one of the best and most adventurous ways to travel because you get to experience everything first hand. You also get to see how different cultures and countries interact and change as you keep going.
The longest road in the world is the Pan-American Highway. It is over 30,000 miles long, which is longer than a trip around the equator! The Pan-American Highway is technically a connection of roads and highways that start in the tip of Alaska and run all the way to the edge of Argentina. That’s seven different time zones!
There are six more roads on the guide, each one with interesting and unique stops and facts. I personally want to see the coast of Australia on the “Big Lap,” or its official name, Highway 1. I also think the Trans-Canada Highway would be really cool, to drive through the Great Lakes and some awesome national parks before stopping in Vancouver.
