What is the best way to educate our young one's on SEX?

This is a very important topic that we seldom talk about and parents sometimes feel ashamed to educate the young one's about it.

Most schools don't include SEX education in their curriculum and it is very dangerous when the young one's are not properly informed and educated about it. This makes them vulnerable cause some unscrupulous men may tend to take advantage of there innocent minds.

So i ask what is the best or most efficient way of educating the young one's on SEX?

  2. You brought a good topic. As for me. Parents have a great role to play when it comes to teaching their kids what to do when they become teenagers. I mean teaching them the right path to follow.

  3. very important topic and a difficult one. Here in Norway there is a lot about this in school also about homosexuality, which is important to address to! - but of course we as parents has to do our bit as well. It is always awkward especially for the teens - but it has to be done. I think that teaching them to respect others - and themselves enough to never do anything they dont want is especially important. And also that sex is a great gift with the right person!

  5. This is one of the topic that most parents shy away from, to me the teaching should start from their very tender age, this doesn't mean they'll engage in sex rather to learn the did and don't as regards to the topic.

    1. I get your point, it's absolutely necessary to teach the young ones about this earlier in life.

  6. Most families don't want to address this and the schools hands are tied as to the best methods on how to educate kids on this. I think parents need to take on that initiative first.

  8. This issue was never addressed during family discussions and I first learnt all about sex in school It is a topic we all try to avoid and is it considered taboo but I feel we should openly have this discussion so children know the right and wrongs of engaging in such acts.
